The workspace

A tour of every control and tab in the project workspace.

The workspace is two columns: the conversation with the agent on the left, and the preview pane with its row of tabs on the right. Drag the divider to resize; the conversation column can collapse entirely into a slim rail when you want the preview full-width. On a phone, the same workspace becomes a swipeable deck — Chat, Preview, and Board — with a live dock showing what the agent is doing right now.

The top bar

From left to right:

Control	What it does
Creator logo	Back to your dashboard.
Project title	Your original prompt; hover to read the whole thing.
Round chip	Which round you’re in — appears once a project has more than one. See Rounds.
Model picker	Change the model for this project; the choice is saved server-side. If the running session hasn’t picked up your change yet, a warning chip appears with a one-click re-apply.
Thinking dial	Fast / Auto / Thorough — how hard the agent reasons per turn. Auto is the quality-first default. Takes effect on the next turn; you can also escalate a single message by including the word ultrathink.
Stop	Appears whenever a turn is running. Stops the agent (also Esc). Shows “Stopping…” until everything has actually halted.
Context readout	A diagnostic showing how full the agent’s working context is.
Credits meter	Your live usage — see Plans & usage.
Tier pill	Switch between Builder and Developer any time. Downgrading asks you to confirm which panels will hide — your project data is kept, and switching back restores everything.
Publish	The publish button, state-aware: disabled with “Build your app first” before the first build; Publish, Publishing…, View live, or Retry publish after. See Publish.

On wide screens a utility shelf also appears: Memory Lens and Skill Shelf (Developer tier — peek at, pin, or edit what the agent remembers, and see its skills), Open in Creator IDE (Developer tier), Resources (the project’s live infrastructure inventory), and Push to GitHub — which shows a “last pushed” pill once you’ve pushed before.

The tabs

The preview pane carries a row of tabs. Whatever tab you’re on, an attention bar above it surfaces anything waiting on you — a plan to approve, a question to answer, a blocked story — and clicking it takes you straight there.

Design	Appears on design-first builds once design work exists. See Design-first builds.
Activity	The full stream of what the agent did — the answer to “what is it doing?”
Proof	Every promise the build made and how each was verified. See The Proof tab.
Tests	The test suite — platform checks and the agent’s own tests, runnable on demand. See The Tests tab.
Plan	The proposal, architecture document, and plan promises. Editable during plan review.
Infra	The operating surface for the project’s cloud capabilities — status, configuration, prerequisites, and anything that needs a secret from you. See Capabilities.
Kanban	All stories at a glance. Clicking a story jumps to its task ladder.
Tasks	The per-story task breakdown. See Stories & progress.
Cost	This project’s AI spend, broken down by epic, story, and model.
Code	Developer tier only — a read-only file tree and viewer of your project’s source.

Keyboard

Press ⌘K (or Ctrl+K) anywhere for the command palette — jump to projects, settings, deploy, or search your memories. The full shortcut list lives under Shortcuts, and in the app via the user menu.
